Fragrance: Quite fragrant: damask

Growth Habit: Upright
Cultivation: Shakes off the occasional bout of blackspot. Prefers well-drained, loamy soil.
Not Hardy North of: Zone 6
Origins: France:(1860) Mallet-Malet
Parentage: seedling of Pius IX
Notes: Nearly thornless canes. Needs good soil and position - try against a wall. A must-have for Old Rose fans.
